My Story

My story is not defined by titles or achievements—though I’ve earned many along the way. It is defined by resilience, reinvention, and the moment my life changed without warning. Surviving a stroke forced me to confront the fragility of the human body and the extraordinary strength of the human spirit. What followed was far more than recovery; it was a complete transformation of how I live, lead, and show up in the world.

Before my stroke, I was known for my drive, warmth, and ability to make people feel seen—qualities that remain at the heart of who I am. But the experience gave me a new lens on life. I learned that strength isn’t always loud or dramatic. Sometimes it’s the quiet determination to relearn a movement, form a word, or trust your body again. It’s choosing to keep going even when the path ahead feels uncertain.

During my healing, I immersed myself in the neuroscience of the brain, determined to understand how recovery truly works. Learning how the mind rewires itself after trauma became a source of empowerment. It showed me that progress is possible, that the brain is adaptable, and that every small victory matters. This knowledge deepened my appreciation for every regained ability and every moment of clarity.

My journey strengthened my belief in living a meaningful, intentional life. Today, I prioritize connection, purpose, and presence. I share my story not to inspire through hardship alone, but to help others create meaningful lives without needing a life‑or‑death wake‑up call. My mission is to show people that transformation is available to anyone willing to step into it.

Why I’m the Right Speaker or Coach for You

I don’t teach from theory—I teach from lived experience, science‑backed understanding, and a deep commitment to helping others rise. I am the right choice if you want someone who brings:

  • Authenticity and vulnerability: I speak openly about the realities of rebuilding your life, not just the highlight reel.

  • Actionable tools: My understanding of neuroplasticity, mindset, and resilience translates into practical strategies people can use immediately.

  • Empathy and connection: I create a space where people feel understood, supported, and capable of change.

  • A message of hope grounded in truth: I show audiences and clients what’s possible, even when life feels overwhelming or uncertain.

Above all, my story is one of hope. I stand as a reminder that even when life shifts in an instant, you can rebuild, rise, and create a life filled with purpose, gratitude, and strength. And I’m here to help others do exactly that.
